Yasuko Hyodo (兵頭靖子, Hyōdō Yasuko) is the mother of the Hyodo twins and is a minor character. She tends to the family onion farm.
Appearance[]
She is a lady of approximately 50 years of age. She is small. Her hair is short and white. She always wears an apron to cook and clean the onions from her farm.
Personality[]
She is very nice to everyone and is willing to help if needed. She worries about her children and stops Eikichi from smoking because she considers it a bad influence. Despite loving her children very much, she knows that there are things that it is better for the Busters group to intervene with.
When Yuko turned into an onion, she knew it was best left to the group to sort it out. She also doesn't seem to have been worried about Eikichi's kidnapping and him being out of the house, living with strangers for months. Although this seems to have an explanation in the Busters' food bribe.
History[]
Chapter 1[]
She appears at the beginning of the story to ask Eikichi where his sister is and later scold him for smoking. When the Busters arrive, she answers the door and is unopposed as Eikichi is taken away.
Chapter 2[]
The group of Sagako Busters tells her that they will teach Eikichi to behave and have manners, to which Yasuko gives them the green light.
Chapter 12[]
After a giant Sagako destroys the mansion they were in, Eikichi goes to his mother to ask to stay while they recover. Seeing the state of the group, she makes a big dinner for the new guests.
Chapter 13[]
After a month of serving the Busters team, she says goodbye to the group and her son. However, she is also worried about the news report and fears that something will happen to the group.
Chapter 17[]
Despite spending 5 years, she continues to run the farm with her husband. On Tae's anniversary day, she receives Anna and Hanako at her house to meet up with the rest of the team later. As a good mother, she has maternal instincts and worries about Anna's safety in her new job as a police officer, but she tells her that she doesn't have to worry.
