Ureshino City (嬉野市 Ureshino-shi) is a city located in the western part of Saga Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, Japan.

In 1889, the current region of the city was occupied by 6 villages (Gochōda, Higashiureshino, Kuma, Nishiureshino, Shiota, and Yoshida).
The modern city of Ureshino was formed on January 1, 2006, by the merger of the ancient city of Ureshino, absorbing the city of Shiota (both from the Fujitsu district). Ureshino is known locally for the green tea grown there and its hot spring spas.

Visited to promote Franchouchou, the Kasuien hotel is the location of the episode's events while the girls visit Ureshino town, sadly their promotion fails when the girls accidentally scare the sponsor. In the manga, the city is the place of one of the tests for Kotaro. In Gaiden, it is the place of Eikichi's first encounter with a Sagako.
