Ureshino City (嬉野市 Ureshino-shi) is a city located west of Saga Prefecture, on the island of Kyushu, Japan.

Overview[]

Ureshino is located in the southwest of Saga Prefecture, in a basin surrounded by relatively gentle mountains. Part of the eastern area belongs to the Shiroishi Plain.

The Ureshino area was part of the former Hizen Province. During the Edo Period, it was part of the Saga Domain. Following the Meiji Restoration, the villages of Gochōda, Higashiureshino, Kuma, Nishiureshino, Shiota, and Yoshida were founded on April 1, 1889, establishing the modern municipal system. Shiota was elevated to city status on October 5, 1918. Nishiureshino was elevated to city status on April 1, 1929, and renamed Ureshino. The city of Ureshino annexed Higashiureshino on April 1, 1933, and Yoshida on April 1, 1955, while Shiota annexed Gochōda and Kuma on September 1, 1956. The city of Ureshino was formed on January 1, 2006, through the merger of the towns of Ureshino and Shiota.[1]

Synopsis[]

During the 1980s, the Kasuien Hotel in Ureshino fell victim to the hot spring curse. The Sagako Busters team was tasked with sealing the curse. However, it escaped due to the incompetence of their newest member.

In 2018, Franchouchou visited the town seeking a collaboration with the local pharmaceutical company. The event was a resounding success with the hotel staff. However, Franchouchou's girls accidentally frightened the pharmaceutical company's owner, traumatizing her and causing her to forget everything. The collaboration was a complete failure after this incident.
