In Saga Prefecture, Nagasaki Broadcasting Co. Ltd. (Nagasaki City) has been broadcasting the prefecture area as NBC Radio Saga for many years, but the authorities decided to make a broadcast assignment exclusively to Saga Prefecture.
In Saga prefecture, there was no frequency allocation until 1990 because it was easy to listen to commercial FM stations in neighboring prefectures, but since there were no plans to open additional commercial television stations, a preliminary license was issued only one year after the assignment was delivered. At the time of opening, it joined JFN in lieu of an independent station. This is because it is advantageous in programming.
It is broadcast 24 hours a day starting November 1, 2000, except for the maintenance hours of 1:00 (Sunday 25:00) and 6:00 on Mondays. Recently, during maintenance, the transmission does not stop and is in a silent (unmodulated) state.
Internet distribution is available on LISMO WAVE and DecodemoFM since 2011 (both distribution services have ended). Radiko began distribution on April 15, 2020.

The radio station was one of the strong points of White Ryu's career during his youth as a rock singer. His program “So that Saga remains Saga” was a success at this time and made the prefecture popular at the time. Years later Ryu would leave the station to Saki and Franchouchou to continue with the legacy of his radio show, and thanks to this, the group helped promote the charity event that would help Saga after the flood.
