Saga Arena (SAGAアリーナ, Saga arīna) is a multipurpose arena to be built at SAGA Sunrise Park in the city of Saga, Saga prefecture.[1]

The basic plan formulated in March 2017 assumes that it will be used for professional sports games and concerts, and has more than 6000 seats (fixed seats 4000 or more), which exceeds the standard of B.LEAGUE's premier division home arena of 5000 seats. It was supposed to be the size of three basketball courts, but at the review committee held on March 30, 2018, it was decided to expand the number of spectators in the arena to 8,000 seats. At the same time, the entire maintenance area, such as the general playground, was named “SAGA Sunrise Park” (working name). At the same meeting on August 23, a draft business plan for the venue with a full picture was reported, and it was shown that it would cost 15 billion yen to build a new stadium and 22 billion yen to renovate the existing facilities, as an athletics stadium and improve the environment.
On November 1, 2018, the prefecture decided on the “SAGA Sunrise Park (tentative name) facility plan” and decided to change the arena's nickname to “SAGA Arena” (tentative name). It is reported that the government will study the possibility of using the grant system and naming rights to guarantee financial resources.
On February 6, 2020, a new tender was held for the construction of a new stadium, and a joint venture of Toda Corporation, Matsuo Corporation, Nakano Corporation, and Kamitaki Construction bid for 19.5 billion yen, and on February 5, June 2020, construction started three months later.
This is the largest multipurpose stadium in Kyushu, breathing new life into Saga's sports culture. The main arena has approximately 8,400 seats. Various events will be held, including professional sports games such as volleyball at Hisamitsu Springs and basketball at Saga Balloons, concerts by popular artists, and family entertainment. In professional sports matches, a large screen and a ribbon screen surrounding the venue will produce powerful images and lights to excite the entire venue.

The Saga Arena stadium is just inaugurated shortly before the events of Episode 15 and during Episode 16 it is seen that the stadium is still being tested for its correct operation. Iron Frill is the first group to inaugurate the great stadium with its great concert with their new song, but Franchouchou was not far behind and as the opening act they surpassed the original group.
