Minami Tanaka (田中 美海, Tanaka Minami) is the seiyū for Lily Hoshikawa in the anime series, Zombie Land Saga.

Life[]
From an early age, she loved anime like “Ojamajo Doremi” and “Sailor Moon”. The reason she wanted to be a voice actress was when she saw so many names in the end credits during the years she was in elementary school, she realized that “anime voices are people.” Declaring at her elementary school graduation ceremony: “Minami Tanaka, I want to be a voice actress in the future and play multiple roles.” To achieve her dream, in high school, she entered the theater club to understand the joy of acting, and to belong to a specialized voice broadcast club. Also, while she was in high school, she bought anime products when she visited Comiket.

In 2012, she passed an audition for the NTT East company seeking new voices for their products. In September of that same year, she was chosen in “Wake Up, Girls! Audition”, the seven approved applicants formed the idol unit “Wake Up, Girls!” they would star in an anime of the same name. The idol unit, “Wake Up, Girls!” (WUG) was active from July 2013 to March 2019.
In 2016, she participated in the third season of the PriPara anime performing the voices of three main characters as these characters interpreted a song together, that is, Minami sang making three different voices. She has also had leading characters in anime such as Kakegurui, Assassination Classroom, Hanayamata, and Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu. Of course also in Zombie Land Saga as Lily Hoshikawa.

- She participated in the bicycle test of the Gatalympics edition no. 34 in 2018, getting second place.
- She has a driver's license but rarely drives.
- In 2019, she won an award with Rie Takahashi for “Best Female Radio” for the Fate/Grand Order radio program.
- It was the seiyuu that had the most appearances in events in 2019, being the first among women and in general among seiyuus. Among these events, they had the final tour of WUG and the events of Zombie Land Saga.
- She has a cooking show that airs on Niconico Live and YouTube. Minami's father is a chef and has been a great influence.
- On November 21, 2023, she announced her wedding through a statement on Twitter.[1]
