Karatsu Station (唐津駅, Karatsu-eki) is a railway station in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Karatsu and Chikuhi lines. It is the main station of the city of Karatsu.

In real life[]
All trains stop at the representative station of the city of Karatsu, which is the central city of the northern Saga prefecture. The station's affiliate line is Karatsu Line and to make this station the endpoint of the Chikuhi line 2 routes (eastern section). In addition to this, all trains on the Chikuhi Line (western section) that start from Yamamoto Station on the Karatsu Line meet at this station. Trains on the Chikuhi Line run partially to Nishi Karatsu Station, the end of the Karatsu Line. This station is numbered JK20 as the station number on the Chikuhi Line.
This station was just an intermediate station on the Karatsu Line at the beginning of the operation, and it was a representative station in the city of Karatsu, including Higashi Karatsu Station, which was the main station on the Chikuhi Line, and Yamamoto Station, which it was the only connecting station on the Karatsu and Chikuhi lines. It was a situation where three stations were separated, but with the opening of the new line of the Chikuhi line and the partial closure in 1983, the Chikuhi line entered this station and the station that connects the Karatsu and Chikuhi lines with the stations Meinohama and Hakata. However, since moving from Yamamoto Station to this station, this station has become a representative station of the city of Karatsu, both in name and in reality.
