Trivia[]
- ARPINO is a combination of the Spanish word “ARCOIRIS,” which means “rainbow,” and “PINO,” which means “pine.” It is representative of Niji-no-Matsubara, which is said to be the symbol of Karatsu. Also, the first character of ARPINO is written “ア” in Japanese and looks like a dolphin, the symbol of the ocean, leaping towards a Niji-no-Matsubara arched in the sky.
- Six days after Franchouchou's last concert at Arpino, the real Arpino in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, posted an announcement apologizing for the collapse of the venue during the event and promising that it will strive to prevent similar accidents from happening again.[1]
