Chapter 6: A Guy Who Never Gives Up! Good Luck Sachi-ng For Love! (諦めない男!君にサチあれ!, Akiramenai Otoko! Kimi ni Sachi Are!) is the sixth chapter of the spin-off manga series of Zombie Land Saga, titled “Zombie Land Saga Side Story: The First Zombie”.
Synopsis[]
A flourishing love story that left the curse to spoil. The busters now help a great man not to give up on love.
Plot[]
A normal day in Takeo's life is interrupted by the Busters, who mistake him for a Sagako due to his enormous size. After the awkward encounter, Takeo explains that he has had that body and face since he was born and because he was big and strong, he was named Takeo. The group is forced to apologize for almost attacking him, but before leaving they ask him about the injuries on his body because he is just a normal human. Takeo tells them that there have been supernatural events at his school, which brings the Busters back into action.
Takeo leads them to the roof of Saga Minami High School, where a student tries to confess his love to a girl, but a gust of wind blows up her skirt and causes him to end up being rejected. But he tells them that it is only the beginning. He takes them to show them the “cursed locker,” where placed love letters turn into cursed letters or thumbtacks. A spiritualist was called to put a seal and avoid more victims of this misfortune, placing a seal on the locker so that no one else would put letters there. Anyone who confesses at Minami school is cursed.
Takeo also suffers from this school curse. He is known at school for being a big and strong man, generating terror among the students. One day, he stops a car about to crash into some flowerpots with only with his own body. This attracts the attention of a girl, Sachika, who sees that within Takeo he has a kind side and that he cares for the weaker ones. It was love at first sight. She does not show any fear towards Takeo because she knows that he is not someone to be afraid of if he takes care of the flowers. Although Sachika is weak in body, she dreams of being strong like Takeo, since many strong people trample on and ignore the weak. For Sachika, Takeo is different from the rest.
But, the curse hits. Takeo is determined to confess to her, but on his first attempt he falls into a hole in the ground, on his second attempt he is interrupted by Sachika's friends; on the third attempt he is hit in the face by a flowerpot. The curse is so strong that it causes him physical damage and scars, making him look even scarier.
Takeo is about to give up because there will come a point where he will hurt Sachika with one of his attempts. However, the group is not willing to let him give up and with the power of love, they will save Saga! In order to trap and seal the curse, Tae dresses up as a schoolgirl to attract Sagako, while they set up a mirror to see the curse approaching. Eikichi is the one who must confess to attract Sagako, but he wants to avoid confessing to a “violent” person like Tae, and he lets loose his jealousy that Tae is in a relationship. To everyone's surprise, Tae tells them that she lied to silence MJ. The two seem to understand each other a little more. In that, the reflection of the Sagako they were looking for appears, scaring them both. The Sagako is part of one of the school's 7 anomalies: A mannequin that moves on its own. The Sagako runs out of the high school, and although they try to catch it, the mannequin is very agile and escapes the attacks. Finally, it is Eikichi who manages to catch him and give him some of his own “medicine” with the potion that Hanako had previously prepared.
At the end of the day, Sachika and Takeo are on the roof of the school, and Takeo is ready to confess to her. With confidence in himself, he begins to talk to her about how she saw inside him, and although he is strong on the outside, he is not on the inside. Takeo is blunt and proposes to Sachika when the time is right. She immediately accepts his proposal.
MJ arrives at the school to see the situation and how Sagako falls in love with Eikichi due to the effects of the potion. Tae complains that Takeo was just a normal person, to which MJ replies that she only told them the direction of the anomaly. MJ felt a strong presence coming from the school, after all, Saga's curse and prosperity go hand in hand and are two sides of the same coin. Takeo and Sachika are the ones who brought prosperity to Saga, so they generated a great presence. The chapter closes with an uncomfortable look between Eikichi and Tae for what happened in the false confession.

Trivia[]
- The title's name indirectly mentions Takeo Go and uses Sachika's name as a pun on “Searching” = “Sachi-ng”.
- According to Jofuku, Saga's curse and prosperity go hand in hand, being two sides of the same coin.
- It is the first time that we see both parents of any of the Franchouchou girls, in this case, Sachika and Takeo later become Lily Hoshikawa's parents.
- The side plot of Takeo trying to confess to a girl while having a mannequin-like monster involved is similar to that of the fifth episode of the Yo-kai Watch Shadowside anime, where the mannequin Yo-kai itself is trying to confess to one of the students before disaster strikes.
