Boat Race Karatsu/Boat Racecourse Karatsu or Karatsu Boat Racecourse (ボートレースからつ/唐津競艇場, Bōtorēsu karatsu/karatsu kyōteijō) is a boat racecourse, in Saga Prefecture, Karatsu city.

It was inaugurated for the first time on August 7, 1953, and from the first year, it already had enough sales to send it to the general account of the city of Karatsu. Since many fans come not only from Karatsu City but also from Fukuoka City and Saga City, a large parking lot and a direct bus are insured and operated to accommodate them. The building is said to be “a luxury like a hotel” and can be seen from the foot of Mount Kagami, a few kilometers away.
Known as Karatsu Kyotei. As of 2010, the common name BOAT RACE was used and, as of 2015, it was changed to the current name of the boat race.

The building appeared in Episode 18 of Revenge, when police officer A incites minors (Maria and her friends) to place bets on a boat competition. Misa, who is a recurring competitor of this place, has failed for months trying to win at least one championship but failing every time. Fortunately, because she saw Maria looking at her, she had enough courage to win the race and make Tae win 20 million yen.
